

Too bad, I would have synced to iPad for flights. Video looks fine but the audio is distorted, making the videos unplayable. The Vulkano Player can record streams and saves a. The mobile connection isn't stable though, that's the thing. When tethered, the speeds ranged from a couple of hundred to about 770 kbps. But the Vulkano Player was showing speeds of 1 to 1.5 Mbps. Lot cheaper than Sling so not as risky - my uploads are only about 1 Mbps when I do speedtest. I'm suppose to be able to get a $10 rebate from RS so I think it's a pretty good deal, at least a couple of hours out of the box. Will probably buy the iOS player for iPhone and iPad for $13.

It's not HD but it looks fine at full screen on my MBP. They just came out with two new models so maybe things have improved.

Sling is the brand name but I've heard a lot of complaints about the build quality and reliability of their boxes.
